Curency: Czech Crown (Ceska Koruna) - CZK

Coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20

TIP!: Be aware that CZK 2000 bill look similiar to former Bulgarian bills and it is often used by street-exchange-guys :-D to cheat people. The approximate value of the Bulgarian bil was 50 CZK. So you can loose CZK 1950 for not paying enough attention...

ATM machines - Bank machines - Bankomats in Prague
It is very easy to find an ATM machine in Prague. Our list of ATM machines can hopefully provide you enough information about locations of these machines. ATM machines accept usual cards such as VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS and some more. You can draw Czech crowns from the ATM machine in Prague even if your account is in your home currency. The exchange rate is usually charged according to current exchange rate in your account bank to the current date.
TIP!: Be careful when you use your card. Do not let any people to spectate you when you draw money from the ATM, especially when you enter the PIN code to the ATM.

Exchange offices and rates
You can find an exchange office everywhere in the center of Prague. However it is very eficient to check more exchange offices before you change the money, comissions and fees can vary impresively and also the rates can be very different. We recommend the Exchange.cz office on the corner of Kaprova and Maislova street near the Old town square (close to the St. Nicholas church). So far it seems to be the best exchange office in Prague. The rate is even better than in banks and there are no hidden costs for the exchange. You can visit EXCHANGE.CZ website, however it is available just in Czech. This link leads to the current exchange rate list of EXCHANGE.CZ.
TIP!: Ask the sales person before you exchange the money how much money in cash will you get after the transaction is over. Ask if there are any extra costs and payments and if the amount is really THE AMOUNT you will receive. Some exchange offices are not too reliable so it si worthy to ask so.
