Prague-Ruzyne Airport is located 10km from the city centre. It is one of the most modern airports in Europe and was designed for almost 5 million passengers per year.There are large parking areas in front of the airport hall, with hundreds of parking places. Passengers are handled in three terminals in Prague. Regular flights of all airlines arrive at, and depart from, terminal - North, where most charter companies also direct their flights. Smaller airplanes, and some special flights are handled in nearby terminals - South and South2. Airports in the Czech Republic are operated by the Czech Airports Authority, a state enterprise. The sales offices of different airlines, where tickets can be purchased, are available here, and 56 check-in counters ensure a smooth check-in. If you are a citizen of a country which does not have a visa-free relationship with the Czech Republic, you must have a valid visa to enter the Czech Republic. Upon arrival and passing through passport control, your baggage will be ready for collection on rotating carousels marked with the destination from where you have travelled. We would like to inform you that the tax - free limit on goods imported to the Czech Republic is 6 000 CZK. If you have goods to declare, it's the red channel that you'll pass through - the green channel is for those who have nothing to declare. Shopping, duty-free and relaxation If you wish to purchase quality brand-name goods, gifts, or simply a few tit-bits for your journey, take advantage of the wide selection of goods in the many shops at the airport. You may even do your shopping in the transit zone, where there are several duty-free shops offering goods at duty and VAT-free prices. On the first floor, there is a restaurant with a beautiful view of the airport tarmac for transit passengers, or for those passengers who'd just like to spend a few moments watching the airport rush by. You can also just take a rest in comfortable seats, and watch TV. And the Airline Business Club for Business Class passengers is available 24 hours a day, on the first floor of the airport building.
